The IT Services team is committed to providing consistent, reliable networking and application services to schools.
Clearly defined policies and procedures have been put in place to ensure business continuity is maintained in the event of an IT disaster.
ICON applications such as eFin, eHR and eSIS have been identified as critical to the business and therefore are expected to be recovered within an hour of a declared IT disaster event.
Schools will be notified by the Communications & Marketing team of any event that may affect them, through whichever channels are available at the time. This will depend on the nature and location of the disaster event.
Schools that have any concerns regarding this are encouraged to contact the Service Desk.
